ADVOCACY TRAININGS ON DECENTRALIZATION
- Bearing in mind that advocacy for decentralization is very specific in the sense of diversity and complexity of the topics which are parts of decentralization process, it is necessary to build the capacity of civil society organizations which will be included in this process. By organizing trainings on decentralization advocacy, trainers from BCIF cooperated with 18 CSOs from 6 target municipalities/cities (Leskovac, Kragujevac, Pirot, Kikinda, Valjevo, Sjenica)
Module 1: Introduction with the program, decentralization and legal framework, identification of common and specific problems in local communities, advocacy definition, planning, definition of the goals, allies and opponents of advocacy.
Module 2: Identification of the acters, actions planning, resourse planning, work with media and the public, inclusion of the citizens and forming the timeframe.
Each module lasted three days and had about 15 participants
